We’re stoked to have taken out the ‘Best New Act’ at last night’s Young Guns of Wine awards. It was truly one of those ‘wow’ moments when our name was announced, especially given it was the first time we’d entered these awards. We couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome!
What are the Young Guns of Wine? Well, in the words of Chief Judge Nick Stock, “The mission of this award is to pull together an inspired group of younger Australian winemakers that are forging ahead at speed within the greater ranks and to inspire them and others to greatness. These guys and girls are singled out for their leadership, their vision, their talent and their influence on the cutting edge of the industry, an influence that has steadily grown each year, along with the challenge of thrashing out the list of finalists and selecting the eventual winner.
We’re thrilled to have been included in such an amazing group of winemaking talent. This trophy’s going straight to the pool room!
